PANELS

Blye Panels are of the sandwich type manufactured in the largest feasible sizes finished in fibreglass sheets with gelcoat or in metal food-safe plastic coated sheets. These are injected with polyurethane foam insulation at a density of 40Kb/m3. Panel thicknesses range from 40mm to 150mm depending on the temperatures required.

The panels are joined by a special BLYE PVC extrusion that enables the panels to interlock throughout. Panels may be supplied to the following maximum sizes: 10 x 4 metres and 14 x 3 metres.

For catering-type fridge / freezer and free-standing cold rooms, floor panels are available in 5-Bar Thread Plate aluminium. For walk-in cold rooms / cold stores we normally lay polyurethane panels and finish in concrete or tiled flooring for hard wearing industrial use. All doors supplied (sliding or hinged, single or double leaf) for negative temperatures will be equipped with heaters.

All Blye cold rooms may be dismantled and re-installed without having to break off or replace panels. Blye cold rooms may also be extended if this is required at a later stage.
